Pill Reading Corner: Alfred Szklarski - The Adventures of Tomek Wilmowski
Today's series may be more for young people, I was wondering if it would be too old school.
However, it seems to me that the content and message that flows from these books is universal to this day.
The year is 1902. Tomek, the son of a revolutionary, is sent to his father who is in exile.
Thus begins a series of adventures, each volume taking us to a different region of the world. Each volume features superb descriptions of flora, fauna, and a multitude of interesting places.
Even though it is young adult literature, I recommend it to everyone regardless of age.
Now let's see how the Tomek series by Alfred Szklarski was received by other readers and what opinions appear on the website lubimyczytac.pl:
An adventure classic that was a joy to read!

I read it in my youth/childhood during a long illness. To put it bluntly, this entire series was a lifesaver and an escape for me as a young girl. I loved it, which is an understatement—I simply traveled with Tomek and his friends. I actually recovered thanks to these books.
