Questions about armchairs and pouffes
What is the most comfortable armchair for relaxing in the living room?
For relaxing, an armchair with a deep seat works best, e.g. the Tedi (88 cm wide, 60 cm seat depth) or the Nellia (100 × 98 cm with a high, soft backrest). The Ren lounge armchair has a high backrest and pocket springs, and the Lampardo is a 110 cm wide butterfly armchair.
Does Pillovely sell swivel armchairs?
Yes, the Otulo lounge armchair in Apia fabric (360° swivel, 82 × 72 × 81 cm, zipped cover) and the Setum armchair (81 × 83 × 76 cm) on a round steel base both swivel. Both have a soft, enveloping shape and suit a living room or relaxation area.
What is the best armchair for a small room?
Narrow armchairs work best in a small room: the Eren (64 cm wide), Shepy (66.5 cm), Ferum (69 cm), and the Ren and contoured Otulo (71 cm each). The low July armchair (95 × 80 cm, 57 cm high) has a compact shape that does not overwhelm smaller rooms.
Which armchairs are Scandinavian or Japandi style?
Scandinavian-style armchairs include the Ren (solid oak legs, Juto fabric), the Eren (paper cord weave and oak, FSC-certified) and the Tedi with wooden legs in 4 colours. The OLEMO lounge armchair (82 × 74 cm, Rolf fabric in 12 colours) was designed in Japandi style.
Which Pillovely armchairs are upholstered in bouclé?
The Tedi armchair (Rolf fabric in 12 colours) and the Shepy lounge armchair in beige bouclé, with a pocket-sprung seat, are upholstered in bouclé. The Shepy fabric is flame-retardant and its legs are lacquered oak.
Which armchair suits a loft or industrial interior?
The Ferum armchair, with a contoured backrest, PU upholstery in vintage brandy and a black or chrome sled base, suits loft interiors. The Otulo lounge armchair with a contoured seat, available in 5 colours, also has a loft character.
Which pouffe or footstool goes with my sofa or corner sofa?
The easiest choice is a pouffe from the same collection as your sofa or corner sofa: the BALOA and ALLORO pouffes are 82 × 75 × 41 cm, the OLEMO 75 × 75 × 39 cm (Aragon or Abriamo fabric), and the May as much as 140 × 65 × 44 cm, seating 1–2 people. The BRICK pouffe (94 × 79 × 40 cm) is part of the BRICK modular collection and arrives in one piece, with no assembly needed.
Can a pouffe be used as a footstool or extra seat?
Yes, the May and BRICK pouffes are described as a footstool, an extra seat or a module for a sofa or corner sofa from the same collection. The BALOA, ALLORO and OLEMO pouffes are freestanding upholstered seats for the living room, bedroom or dressing room.
Can I order an armchair or pouffe in a different colour?
Yes, many models come in a wide range of colours: the July armchair and May pouffe in POSO corduroy (34 colours), the Tedi armchair in 12 colours of Rolf fabric with 4 leg colours, and the BRICK pouffe in 17 colours of BELLA fabric. You can order up to 5 free fabric samples before you buy.
