"I killed the Spider. I replaced him." - "Spider-Man: Kraven's Last Hunt"

Today, a little something about Spidey, one of the stories from the Dark Age of comics, when in addition to simple narratives, screenwriters wanted to explore more serious themes.

So here we have a four-character drama:

- Kraven, consumed by obsession and with little to lose.

- On the other end, Peter Parker, newly married to Mary Jane, somewhat overwhelmed by "Great Power – Great Responsibility."

- Mary Jane, full of fear for Peter's "other identity."

- And Vermin, a character who is perhaps the most tragic in the depravity he succumbed to.

I recommend getting acquainted with this series to discover that Spidey doesn't always crack jokes right and left while swinging on webs. In this piece, he has blood and bones.

And now, let's see what readers on lubimyczytac.pl say about this story:

Dark and serious for Spider-Man.
I remember reading this ages ago from TM-Semic, now it's much better on coated paper.

A great, dark story focusing on the psychology of its characters.

The best (S-M) comic I've read. Heavy, dark, mature. I expected a lot based on the ratings, but this... exceeded expectations.
