World War II – a naval battle between an American destroyer and the Japanese fleet. After the crew of the American destroyer Walker is caught in a storm, they realize they have entered another, parallel world.
A world where humanity never came into being, ruled by two races: intelligent, lemur-like mammals and intelligent reptiles, naturally at war with each other. Will the crew of the Walker choose a side and contribute to its victory? Or, as is often the case in nature, will the odds unexpectedly equalize?
A series not only for sailors, but also, because the author is a historian of naval battles, every fan of these topics should have no objections regarding the "professionalism" of this read.
Five volumes in our native language. The next ten, unfortunately, have not been published in Polish, but if desired, you can acquire them. The series did not make me sick; quite the opposite, I wholeheartedly recommend this blend of "Sliders - The Fifth Dimension" and "Naval Battles: Clash of the Titans."

The beginning is a bit boring, but the further you read, the better it gets. I find the second volume better, but that might be because I bought the book as an English e-book, and I not only read the second part a long time ago, but also received it as a gift from a friend at a photo technology school for St. Nicholas' Day (or maybe graduation?). It was in Polish and printed on some of the best paper I've ever held (I still own the book, and its quality still stands out compared to hundreds of my other books).

I picked up this book rather by chance, but I'm absolutely delighted with it. So much so that I'm currently reading the fourth part. The plot is fast-paced (with a few exceptions), and the flora and fauna of the parallel world are incredibly detailed (which will be particularly noticeable in subsequent volumes).

I stand by my opinion on the first part of the adventures of two destroyers in a parallel world. The book is written lightly and fluently. It reads quickly and pleasantly. I highly recommend it.
