77x185 bookcase with two drawers in a loft style | Skeleto

Skeleto metal shelving unit with a recess and drawers – display and storage in a single frame

This bookcase combines two functions that usually require two separate pieces of furniture: displaying the things you love and storing the everyday items. The slender 185 cm high steel frame accommodates four shelves, a recess with a back and side panel, and a module with two drawers. The asymmetrical arrangement of the elements gives the whole piece a light and airy look, rather than that of a traditional cabinet.

Drawers for things you want to keep out of sight

Two drawers with melamine fronts on an MDF core can hold chargers, remote controls, notebooks and small accessories. They are opened using a handle at the top edge of the front. Above and below them is open space for books, baskets and decorations.

Three characters to choose from

‘Wild Oak’ features a matt black frame and shelves with drawers in a matt wild oak finish – a warm contrast between wood and steel. Black Melamine combines a black frame with a black ash finish, creating a uniform, graphite-coloured piece of furniture. Grey Melamine features a grey frame and grey shelves and drawers – a light, calm version. The rear panel of the unit is reversible, so you can choose the side that best suits your interior.

Sturdy steel structure

The frame and base are made of powder-coated steel with a textured finish, whilst the shelves and drawers are made of melamine-faced MDF with a textured surface. The bookcase is 77 cm wide and 35 cm deep, and stands on four square-section legs, each 6.8 cm high, fitted with plastic feet. The main shelf can hold up to 18 kg, and the materials are easy to care for and FSC™-certified.

For the living room, hall and study

In the living room, it will keep books and mementos tidy; in the hall, it will store keys and small items in its drawers; and in the home office, it will hold documents and stationery. Its slender silhouette suits both loft-style and bright, modern interiors.
