David Farland – The Sum of All Men
I devoured the book immediately. Gaborn's world completely captivated me. I am aware that David Farland's world won't appeal to everyone. I am delighted. I have already bought the next volume and am looking forward to more. Wizards, mythical creatures, war, and love – this is literature at its finest. I can only recommend it.

The second volume of the series is, in my opinion, slightly better than its predecessor. There is significantly more action, the characters are interesting, and the world is truly impressive. Of course, there are a few things that bother me, but they are few and do not detract from the enjoyment of reading. Additionally, the author has added a philosophical touch to the story; one clearly understands what drives the characters.

I bought the book at a bookstore during a sale for a few cents, rather accidentally – the titles matched, but the author is not the same. However, it turned out to be interesting. Initially, it was a bit difficult to understand – it's the third volume of the series – but after reading it, I can certainly say that I will definitely read the two previous volumes at some point.
